Lowlands

Lowlands is a collection of tunes from the Appalachian and British folk traditions, arranged for solo guitar.

Many of these songs were learned from my parents, who brought them to New Zealand when they emigrated from the UK. I also owe a huge debt to the singers Anne Briggs and Jean Ritchie, whose beautiful versions inspired a number of the arrangements.
